On today's menu is the easiest cabbage recipe
that I have ever made which I learned from my Brother-in-law with the least amount of
spices that you may ever think of no fuss But a little baby sitting on the Cabbage makes it
so delightfully delicious and if you're a cabbage Hater then you better try this recipe because you
never know you may change your mind hey everyone Namaskar and welcome to Curries with Bumbi pan
on medium heat with 3 tablespoons of oil in it Once the oil turns hot in goes half a teaspoon
each of cumin seeds and black mustard seeds in Indian cooking whole spices are usually added
to the hot oil the seeds burst out in the hot Oil and the flavor is released and the oil in
turn gets aromatic if you're a beginner then Quickly cover the pan with the lid immediately
after adding the whole spices and open the lid When the seeds stop splattering okay I added
shredded cabbage and shredded carrots give A brief stir and then lower the heat to
medium low and do not stir it for a while But from time to time just from one side with
the help of your spoon move the Cabbage a little Bit and see if it has started to get little
brown like see how it's looking little brown Now when you see that give a stir and
again keep it undisturbed for some time Now guys you have to do this a couple of times
this is the only thing you need to do in this Recipe it may sound a bit boring but you can
do something else in between but guys do not Forget to check on it from time to time or else it
will get burnt at the bottom and we are not making Burnt and charred cabbage fry today soon you will
see the cabbage is wilting down and becoming pale Then it will start developing a golden brown color
at this point add a teaspoon full of salt and then I added frozen green peas my camera's battery
went down and unfortunately I couldn't capture That moment when I was adding the green peas but
all that I added was frozen green peas and nothing Else just trust me I won't recommend adding fresh
green peas for this recipe but you can always Blanch them and then add at this stage then cover
on medium low heat for just a few minutes Last but not the least I added fresh red
chili you can even add green chilies and My beloved coriander leaves the Cabbage
gets beautifully caramelized and sweet Along with the sweetness from those
carrots and you won't even imagine How delicious this is you can have this
as a side with rice or Roti or bread and It can't get easier than this thanks Dhanabal for this delicious recipe bye bye
