BEST Japanese CURRY! Curry Tour in Tokyo Japan!
I went on a curry journey to see what place made the best curry in Tokyo, Japan. I was super excited, but then patience got the best of me because some of the curry places have a long waiting game, and that made me even hungrier!!
The first curry I had at Bondy was incredible. It was sweet, creamy, with a spicy kick leaving on your tongue. Also, get the baked apple dessert. Make sure to come early for this place because I arrived at 3 PM and had to wait an hour in line. Coco curry has many restaurants all over Japan, so you won’t miss them. You can customize your curry dish however you like it, and their curry is super creamy. I loved the three meat chicken curry the best. Now Yoshida curry is quite the wait… But this curry was beautiful, creamy from the orange egg, and the pork was super tender.

[Music] Hey Good morning Thank You weed I love this It’s a it’s a really just shelled lazy Sunday morning I’m walking by the train Tracks on my way to catch a train into Tokyo this is like very anime in school A little walkway but train I think it’d Be even more so Phil it’s raining and Raining I’m stinging you’ll go home I This is really quiet neighborhood oh Yeah I don’t love about it is my try to Go running out late at night I think It’s a little creepy I mean not a lot of Lights in a lot of abandoned houses Because you know that’s all haunted Right anyway I was trying to figure out What to eat today and I realized haven’t Had curry yet since I came to Japan we Need to fix that so today oh my gosh I’m Going to something amazing curry please So except actually starving right now so I’m thinking about Korea start walking Faster all right I see I see you won’t Get to the restaurant [Music] And to get great curry I’m here at Jimbo Chow this town it’s more of a book town But it’s also known as the battleground For curry because supposedly there are a Ton of amazing curry restaurants here so I’m gonna just try to eat as many as I Can because I want to taste Amano So today is more of a curry sampler
Slash you know so much Korea as you Possibly can sir today now we’re gonna Start in this little alley here That’s quarry Bundy this is kind of Crazy I came at 3 o’clock in the Afternoon because I figured that that’s Between lunchtime and dinnertime line Out the door right now let’s play Supposed to be good apparently there’s There’s 32 people in front of me it’s 3 O’clock in the afternoon I thought I was Being smart I got the menu hoesley beef Curry is the best and you can choose This like the flavor from spicy to sweet So here’s who gave me the suggestion for The because it’s the most adorable the Door below arrived my been in Japan so Far so and you told me the beef curry is Awesome and you’re excited you’re as Excited to eat this as I am the first Time me too It’s gonna be awesome we’re food buddies Now what if for about an hour finally Got in and smells so good and this is Really interesting first thing to bring Out to me it’s more potatoes and some And some butter and they told me this is Really really hot and to put some salt And pepper in the potatoes and then of Course the butter I got the spicy curry But I got a sweet hurry come on a Shrike Bulk and the spicy curry oh and it’s Thick a couple massive chunks of beef in Here and it’s serving the curry and
There’s like half a genie lamp and I Just poured this all over my rice [Music] That is not going to waste ah first by The Korean Japan after a long long time I’m actually getting nervous Whoa I don’t speak a lot of Japanese but I know this is voice she the flavor is Really interesting because at first bite I thought they gave me the wrong water Because I thought it gave me that sweet Corrine for my beat but no it’s a little Sweet and then all of a sudden the crew Starts stabbing my tongue it is so thick And creamy and they’re just tons of Spices in here Well rice is amazing too It’s like every grain of rice is wearing A delicious show P kimono of sauce the Texture of this curry it’s unbelievable I’m having the invited thief to the Party yet [Music] Yoga if you’re watching thank you so Much for this recommendation I love it Man I asked for the spiciest version Which I think if you guys like spicy get That and I almost wish is raining and Thunderstorm outside because it’s Perfect cold weather Perfect for a ring storm you snuggle Other home make a pot of spicy sweet Bean curry put on first gum and just Have a date and look how tender this be
Fish I know my curry day has just Started but it’s off to a thunderous Start doctors are be really was more Tender than last one I got to get to the Second boiler because they’re just [ __ ] here this is the sweet and Mixed curry so I see some shrimping here Some mushrooms I guess I’m chicken port just a bunch of Mixed veggies and meats and they put Butter on the rice as well here I’ve Never had just pure sweet curry but I Want to try this just between you and me And don’t tell hot oil this but I almost Like this better than the spicy version The heat is awesome and always welcoming And I love it mobile to teach me more of The curry itself and the flavor is a lot Deeper without the huge I really never Heard this smooth before it really just Feels like a shock silky sheets it is Massaging my stomach and really like the Meat it’s great but this is absolutely The star of the show And their condiments a little pickle Veggies I love the crunch of their pickle Veggies provided but really you don’t Need to do much else to make those Amazing oh I forgot something that Cannot be going to waste so potato [Music] Those are way better now right back up Just drop that in there oh let’s do this

Little different than the ones I Typically see check it out this tyre key Is uh his lot thinner than the other Ones I’ve had in Japan it’s kind it Looks like a fish fossil it’s got the Outside low crispy batter as well and is Ripping inside and maybe a little kiss First this is gonna be a delicious Archeological discovery I love you outside oh no crispy mmm this Is actually really good Much more crispy than the other one of These I’ve had before now just kind of Let’s treat me though I’m on to the Curry Oh finally yeah I’m still hungry Oh yeah a little fish timing over It’s my next place this rice is actually Really really fragrant that he gave me I Mean I smell this as soon as you took it Out of the pot so this is a cheesy curry Brown meat really lots appeared in the Last Korea I had the cheese is not very Pulley and a lot more tomatoes in here This place I heard good things about the Cheesy curry and that’s mainly why I’m Here [Music] Have a couple thoughts on this string up A few more about you This is for short yummy machine is not Of the highest quality but actually like What he did with the blowtorch you can See a little bit that charred flavor This is a very very delicious
Down-to-earth type of curry it’s not so Key and complex like Rogers had before It’s very simple and rustic not very Spicy even though I asked for very very Spicy mainly I think this curry is good For where you’re paying I mean this is About eight dollars and you get a lot of Food a big plate of rice pretty Good-sized Korean because of soupy it Goes really really well with your rice Then kind of in a way reminds me of the Chinese tomatoes and age we suffer There’s no eggs in here but it is really Tomatoey and a mix of rice really really Really saw she also they cook this thing Like three minutes so if you want Something that’s fast she pretty yummy Good sized portion this is your squat I Think I do really like about this the Rice I really like the rest you know Well finish up if it’s the next place a Lot of you guys ask me to go to it so Let’s see over there Here we go the curry place that’s most Recommended by you guys for me to try While I’m in Japan Coco curry house I Got a tongue katsu curry with cheese and Asked him to add an egg on top and I Also wanted to try the chickens I my Curry and here you get to add the Different spice levels and you got to Pay extra for that I didn’t really know How much spice to add so I pretty much Got the spiciest this place all they
Give you is a spoon and I got you curry One it’s a tonkatsu with cheese and a Cuz I saw this egg I saw someone eating It and I knew I had to have it Look look at this egg does igni is a Fragile sticker on it you got to take Care of it as you would a loved one cuz It’s a gentle soul and then the curry Itself there’s cheese in the curry in The tonkatsu nice and crispy on the Outside that’s a pretty juicy piece of Meat but chicken is a mix of three Different types of chicken you got Stewed chicken inside the curry you got Karaage or fried chicken again nicely Crispy on the outside and then there’s a Chicken cutlet and just like the pork This thing looks juicy and delicious and For about ten dollars it’s a good size Hoping start with a cheesy curry look at This egg my gosh I love love love on my Rice interacts with this curry this is So beautiful You know rice wearing a coat of curry That looks better than the best dressed Award at the Oscars right I mean isn’t This prettier I think so Oh wow Oh that quarry is cleaning especially we Just shred it Oh my egg is so creamy it’s a curry Itself let me just get some pork those Are the great choice only thing I wish I Got spicier I asked for the spiciest I
Could do with some more heat so that She’s in the indie egg I feel like if You gonna get any curry at this place You’ve gotta add egg to it in the Tonkatsu this thing it’s actually really Really nicely texture square out the Kush I like that spice a little bit of crunch I kind of bricks me out of this smooth Silky flavor of the cheese and egg for Just a moment the chicken version let’s Put some little bits of stewed chicken And curry on top of the fried chicken Piece MMmmm little chicken cullet actually This plate for some reason is much Spicier than my last plate this is more Of the spice level I like I like to feel Like the courage is stabbing me just a Tiny little bit that’s my perfect spice [Music] It’s putting the rice with this Aggressive spicy fragrant flavor and by Association the rice becomes smooth to Play so we’re although there’s no cheese In this there’s almost cheese add a Little pickle veggie I don’t feel like You need something that’s different in Texture because the Krays almost too Smooth Choose Sookie I think I did a twofer Dishes I got I like to should go one Better because the heat level in that Quarry is exactly what I want I think
Bad dish for that egg on top that’d be Out of this world Tonkatsu curry I got I like it I think With the cheese NBA sometimes it could Be beautiful to overkill as I’m eating More and more of it it gets a bit heavy But in general there’s soldier wishes Especially for what you get with the Money I mean about $10 five don’t want To so many of you guys recommended this Plate night thank you for these this is A great meal this is this is kind of What I need to kind of wrap up my day Like a one last good curry dish because The last one was just it’s alright you Know that’s alright wouldn’t go back but Dish this we might be happy again All right there just one more curry Place I wanna try it was cool space I’m Gonna go tomorrow but today not at that Curry day Cory I mention we’ll continue Tomorrow Oh my god okay this next place I’m going To is in the oke kuba area Yoshida curry Highly recommended and the reason I said Oh my god is because I mean it is a lot Of people in line the people who are Here now I think they know there’s gonna Be a way so I see people they brought Books some people brought their iPads or Watching a movie a few moments later Just an update 30 minutes in I have not Let that move makes matters worse is That there’s a there’s a restaurant a
Burger restaurant right here fresh Freshness burger and I’m just standing Here breathing in burger infused air for The last half an hour one hour update Barely moved move that one time that you Guys saw that’s it this better be some Life-altering curry just saying okay so This this place right here that’s not Your cheetah curry this is not that Right there that is I just found out why There’s such a long way there’s only Seven seats up there I’m thinking Another hour Wow the guy just came in and came out And told the rest of the queue like I’m Almost there that told the rest of the People that I think they’re closing for Lunch I don’t know something that good People look not happy but I I can’t Still get it two hours and Counting Right now ah here we go So you oh man so you coming to the Stairwell and you still gotta wait but Hey at least I got him he imagine Waiting for two hours I’m told you can Come at all that’s like a food nightmare For me [Music] Even those four years Chloe I’ve ever Seen my agent rice move piece of pork This might be the most fragile piece of Pork with Africa this is falling apart When I pinch it just slightly with the Chopsticks
Baby [Music] [Music] Oh wow hi I’m out the stove burning I Couldn’t really talk in there because it Was one of those places I’m so quiet You’re supposed to go and shut up and Get out but that was by far the Prettiest curry dish I think I’ve ever Had with that beautiful golden egg Sitting on top especially when you broke It that’s silky yoky waterfall tripping Over the meat and the rice making his Way like almost carving out a delicious Yoky River when it hits the curry that Was mesmerizing you could have different Selections you can either do a spicy Curry or a sweet one I did a spicy one And there were different add-on items That I wasn’t really familiar with so I Got the pork in the egg luckily I got That because I could kind of read the Kanji and understood that it was an egg And a pork I wanted it but there’s a Couple things that other people got I Didn’t know was on the menu one was some Sort of vegetable and the other was some Kind of like cream looking thing Something else I gotta say that pork That he braced I mean he can’t even blow On it without damaging that baby that Was just incredibly delicate and soft And tender and delicious in that curry When you ask for spicy it’s pretty spicy
And the egg was of great smooth because It provides a smooth creamy contrast to The spicy curry all in all really good Curry dish but if you ask me what I do This again would I wait three hours for This dish I would say no I would have to Say no I mean it was good but not wait Three hours for it good of course that’s Just my own personal opinion I don’t Feel like it was mind blowing Life-changing type of curry that was Kind of expecting for this long but wait So out of the different curry places I Went I think my number one is still Bundy I mean that curry was just the Smoothest creamiest most flavorful curry I’ve had on this tour and with the Dipping potatoes and a nice Big Apple at The end that was just so incredibly Satisfying I think though if you don’t Want to waiting any lines wanna go and Have a really delicious plate of curry Coco curry is the way to go and yeah if You do want to come to your cheetah you Gotta get here probably before it opens Otherwise you might run the risk of not Being able to get in and eating curry in Japan from the go-go curry I had last Time – Coco – bug eat [ __ ] I mean it’s Just all a fantastic dining experience Because it’s way different than most of The curry dishes that I’ve ever had so When you’re traveling in Japan Definitely do not leave curry off your
