Hey guys welcome back to my channel uh I'm making one of my favorite vegetables Today you guys must know by now if you Have been following me for some time That I absolutely Love cauliflower I have I could actually Make a whole playlist of cauliflower That's how many cauliflower recipes are On the channel and each one of them is So different I've cooked it with lentils I've baked it I've fried it and all Sorts but I'm Going Back to Basics today Uh and I'm gonna make a beautiful aloo Gobi which is cauliflower potato sabji Uh but obviously I'm gonna do it in my Own little way I have shared the basic Basic one which like my mom makes a long Time ago so this is going to be a Variation of that and I really hope that You are going to enjoy this one So let's get cooking before that don't Forget to subscribe hit the Bell button So you don't miss out on any Notifications I hope you've done that by now seriously God it's been so long Honestly I'm gonna start with a Cauliflower so Um today I'm not using these leaves I do Tend to add them I'm going to use the Inside ones that are nice and soft but I'm gonna get rid of these outside Leaves which are Actually the cauliflower has been
Sitting on my shelf for two days so Um Yeah it's gone a bit Um the leaves have gone all Soft anyways so I'm gonna chop it into Pieces So I'm just gonna Um thinly slice two medium sized onions To begin with I'm gonna finely chop four Garlic cloves and a little piece of Ginger So a nice hot pan and two to three Tablespoon of sunflower oil Next goes in a teaspoon of cumin seeds Let them Sizzle nicely And now I'm going to add the onions And this is going to cook for Seven to eight minutes just a light Golden color So it's been six minutes and it's got a Lovely light golden color which is what I'm looking for Two minutes and just chop up a couple of Tomatoes Time to add in the tomatoes Just gonna give it two minutes Foreign Potatoes It's now time for some spices A teaspoon of chili sauce or chili Powder Teaspoon of salt Teaspoon of turmeric powder Two teaspoons of ground coriander
Teaspoon of garam masala Good mix Just a splash of water Foreign And now the vegetables Cauliflower Potatoes Mix I'm gonna cover and cook this on low to Medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes as long As it takes for the cauliflower and Potatoes to cook Foreign It has been exactly 15 minutes my timer Has just gone off so I'm going to Quickly check the cauliflower Take a few leaves of mint and a few Leaves of fresh coriander and then just Chop it up Foreign Masala whatever you have at home And really guys it could not have been Easier or simpler to make this ready in Less than 30 minutes this is a beautiful The sun has been shining on us today and This smells amazing if you don't have Amchur powder or Chaat Masala I will Share the recipe of Chaat Masala 100 Next week you can skip it and just maybe Squeeze a little bit of lemon juice If hopefully you'll have that and it Smells in so delicious and inviting and What would I serve this with again the Classic combination would be serve it
With some Dal or serve this with some Lacha Paratha or just plain Paratha or Some piping hot chapatis or some rice Obviously I have to taste it for you Guys don't go anywhere How could I not taste and tell you how It is oh I absolutely love goby goby's Cauliflower I just love Kobe Um it's one of my favorite favorite Vegetables I think it's so versatile and it takes And It soaks up all the All the to it which is why I love Love it I really hope you give this a go The cauliflower is just melting in your Mouth is cooked to perfection Doesn't take long Don't forget to subscribe I'll see you Back later soon Bye
