3 MEDIUM SIZE SLICED ONIONS
2-3 BAY LEAF (TEZ PATA)
2-3 CINNAMON STICKS (CASSIA BARK)
4-6 CARDIMON
3 TSP GARLIC PASTE
3 TSP GINGER PASTE
2.5 / 3 TSP SALT (SALT TO TASTE)
1 TBSP GROUND FENNEL POWDER
1 TBSP GROUND CORIANDER POWDER
1 TBSP GROUND CUMIN POWDER
10-15 GREEN CHILLI
3 TBSP MILK POWDER
HANDFUL FRESH CORIANDER

Welcome everybody to another episode of Lateef's inspired here are my lovely Ingredients I've recently made a mutton Biryani yakney style and this is the Chicken recipe so I've got about 500 Grams of chicken chicken on the bone you Can use boneless if you wish and all the Spices I've got three cups of rice just Washed fresh coriander oil onion ginger Garlic not many spices but huge flavor Let's start cooking Right I've just got a cup of oil or just Less than a cup I've got three medium sized onions these Are the red onions what I'm going to do I'm just going to fry it for fried onion Flavor This can take 10 to 12 minutes So be very patient Right amazing chefs when the onions nice And golden just like this There you go Just take it out I've cooked it on a High heat because I want that fried Flavor which I've achieved here you go Chefs that's all the fried onions so We're going to remove these now we add In the 500 grams of chicken into the Flavored oil When you add the chicken because the raw Chicken what's going to happen is it's Going to stick to the pan be very Patient and let this cook for a few Minutes before we start stirring
So when the chicken has been frying in The oil for a few minutes Give it a stir be very careful When you cut the chicken into small Pieces It's easier when eating Now I'm using about three cups of rice So I'm going to need about Two and a half three teaspoons of salt So here's one two Three teaspoons of salt This is fresh garlic so I'm using One Heat teaspoon To Three again because I'm using three cups Of rice that's one hence I'm using three Teaspoons of garlic also three teaspoons Of Ginger one Two Three Wonderful also adding some garam masala Bangladeshi bay leaf which is the test Batter three Cinnamon sticks one two three three is Enough One two three four five about five or Six cracked cardamom pods Make sure you cook it until the ginger And garlic the rawness has gone away Smells wonderful waft of fresh ginger And Garlic's amazing so cook this on a Medium gas we'll come back to this Shortly Right when the ocean garlic has been
Cooking for a few minutes and it becomes Nice and golden now we're going to Introduce the spice which are ground Fennel Ground coriander ground cumin one Tablespoon of each all the flavor goes In the lovely seasonings Foreign [Music] Very aromatic Now when the spice goes in reduce the Gas to a low and just cook the spices Because the spices can get damp so when It hits the oil it just comes alive Beautiful absolutely gorgeous but when The spice has been cooking for a few Minutes we're going to introduce the Rice this is a very famous Bangladeshi Rice it's quite small which is the Cutteries They call it in Bangladesh so you'll Stuck a broken Basmati It's not long green as you can see here There you go these are tiny tiny greens Wonderful in flavor So we're going to toast this In all that lovely Chicken juice the oil this Bangladeshi Method Wonderful The kitchen is very aromatic Very flavorful I promise So when you're doing this make sure You've got a boiling kettle on I'm going
To add the water we're gonna add some Green chilies these are about 15 green Chilies so give the tip Sprinkle like that and whack in dip this Brings out the flavor I'm going to use some water so it was Three cups of rice so I'm going to use About four and a half cups of water [Applause] Four and a half cups now this is a Bangladeshi method powdered milk Gives a wonderful flavor So one Two two Good three tablespoons Beautiful Give it a careful mix now put the gas to A high and let the rice absorb the water Beautiful so we'll come back to it Shortly keep stirring it every few Minutes so it doesn't get stuck to the Bottom foreign So when you see the water has been Absorbed by the rice reintroduce the Fried onions With our lovely onions the oils our Flavored oils Wonderful some fresh coriander Yummy so simple anybody can make this so Now On four paper For a lid on For the perfect rice Get yourself a cover
Put on the Heat this distributes the Heat evenly and cook on a low heat for a Good 15-20 minutes there you go we'll Come back in about 15-20 minutes right This has been cooking for a good 15-20 Minutes on a very low heat then I turned It off and I let it rest for a good 15-20 minutes now let's have a look Moment of Truth Voila Lovely Steam Wonderful rice Has cooked to perfection Beautiful there you go people So simple And very flavorful there you go close up Here you go Wonderful if you've enjoyed this recipe Don't forget to like share and subscribe For more videos at latif's inspired Really simple cooking wonderful Hello
