The dish is well-known for its rich and tasty flavor, making it a popular choice in coastal regions of India and other countries.
Well, summers here And with summers all we
want is a quick trip to Goa. Because of course, we
miss the beaches, the people And more importantly the food. What I've for you today is Goa on a platter I'm getting to you Chicken Caldine. And for that I'm going to
use Maggi Magic Cubes Chicken. Let's jump into the recipe. Well, more on the cubes later But for now Chicken Caldine. Let's begin. For the Chicken Caldine First things first of course Marinating the Chicken. For which, I'm going to
use curry cut Chicken a kilo. To this, I'm going to add in Salt. And the next thing that goes in Is the star of this recipe Maggi Magic Cubes Chicken. Now to the Chicken I'm going to add our magical ingredient Maggi Magic Cubes Chicken. Crumble it well And mix it with the Chicken. Time to keep the Chicken aside And move on to making
a wet Masala paste. For which, I'm going to
use fresh Coriander Leaves. Moving on to Green Chillies. Depending really on the amount
of spice that you are looking at. Adding in a few pieces of Ginger. Few cloves of Garlic Some dry spices. Beginning with stick of Cinnamon.
A few Cloves. Cumin seeds untoasted. Peppercorn. A little knob of Tamarind Vinegar to grind all of this Just like a tbsp And Sugar. And we grind this into
fine and smooth paste. Our Masala paste is done and ready Let's move on to the next step And that is cooking the Chicken. First thing first, Let's begin with Oil. Once the Oil heats up I'm going to add in sliced Onion. Once the Onions get sauteed I'm going to add in the marinated Chicken. Moving on to adding on
some Turmeric powder The wet spice paste Sliced Tomatoes And give all of this a good mix. And time to add in Coconut Milk. Now if you start from scratch You would take around 30
minutes to make Coconut Milk But here I've a magical ingredient Maggi Coconut Milk powder. And this gives you Coconut Milk in
two minutes with the finest of consistency And taste which is very important For this, I'm going to need A cup full of warm water And to this, I'm going to add in 3 tbsp of Maggi Coconut Milk powder. Now because this recipe calls for 3 cups
I'm going to take 3 cups of warm water And 9 tbsp of Maggi Coconut Milk powder. Let's whisk this well,
ensure that this is lump free. Let's pour this into the Chicken. Let's bring all of this together And give this one final mix. And this now needs to cook for
20-25 minutes on medium to low flame. Or till the Chicken is perfectly cooked. But just before that For some extra added flavour I'm going to crush in one more cube. One thing you need to
know about these cubes Is that they are made
using selected spices And very good quality Chicken That eventually adds that irresistible
flavour and aroma of Chicken To your Chicken dishes. With this, our Chicken
Caldine is done and ready. Do try this at home for that
ultimate Goa experience at home. Also, do try the Maggi Magic Cubes For that extra ordinary
and ultimate taste To your every day Chicken dishes This is me, the Bombay Chef Varun Inamdar Singing off. Bye for now.
