Introduction
Masala Pan Fried Fish is a pan fired fish recipe with a spicy marinade. It is easy to make & is a great treat for spice-lovers. The spiciness of the marinade is perfectly balanced with the tanginess of curd & lemon juice. It can be eaten as a starter & can also be served as a side dish along with plain rice & curry. Preparation of 1st Stage of Marinade
2 small fillets Indian Salmon Fish
1& 1/2 tbsp Mustard Oil
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tbsp Green Chilli Paste
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1 tsp Salt
Preparation of 2nd Stage of Marinade
2 tbsp Hung Curd
2 tbsp Coriander Mint Chutney
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1/4 tsp Carom Seeds
1/4 tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves
20 ml Lemon Juice
1& 1/2 tbsp Roasted Chickpea Flour
1 tbsp Rice Flour
Coriander Leaves (chopped)
Frying the Fillets
Oil (shallow frying)
For Garnish
Chaat Masala
Lemon Juice
Coriander Leaves

Hi guys! This is your
Punjabi Chef Prateek Dhawan. Not just any Dhawan, today I'm the one Who is going to make a
nice delicious Indian appetizer Called Pan Fried Masala Fish. So let's get started. For Pan Fried Masala Fish,
I'm using Indian Salmon Fish. Now I'm going to put gashes in it. After putting the gashes, we will start
with the first stage of the marination. In that, I'm going to add Mustard Oil, Turmeric powder, Cumin powder, Green Chilli paste, Black Pepper And last Salt. The first stage of marination is
done, we will move on to the second stage. For that, first I will take Curd I've added Curd because
I'm having the Fish right now But you can also use malt
Vinegar if you plan to store the fish. Next I'm going to add Coriander Mint Chutney, Ginger-Garlic paste, Red Chilli powder, Garam Masala, Carom Seeds, Dried Fenugreek Leaves, Lemon juice And for binding, I'm going to
add Roasted Chickpea Flour. And to add crispiness, I'm
going to add little Rice Flour. Now let's mix it all together. Now let's rub the marination on the fish. After applying marination on one side, I'm
going to drizzle some chopped Coriander. Then tap it and mix it with
the marination on the fish. Now we will turn on the other
side and follow the same procedure. The fish is properly marinated
Let's start grilling it For that I am going
to switch on the gas. Add Oil And once the gets hot,
we will start grilling the fish. The fish is ready, let's start plating it. Let's add some Chaat Masala. Let's squeeze some Lemon juice. And finally garnish it
some fresh Coriander. And there you go guys, our Pan
