Introduction
Sindhi Fish Curry is a flavourful combination of garlic, tomato and fish. It is very easy to prepare & no onions are used in the recipe. The curry comes together in a few steps – coriander leaves, tomatoes and spices all melded together and then pureed for a smooth curry. Marinated pomfret fish steaks are later added to the gravy. Preparing the Marinade
2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Oil
Pomfret
Pan-Frying the Fish
1 & 1/2 tbsp Oil
For the Spice-Mix
3 Tomatoes (chopped)
Coriander Leaves (chopped)
2 Green Chillies
Preparing the Gravy
1 tbsp Oil
2 Bay Leaves
3-4 Green Cardamom Pods
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Coriander Powder
Salt (as required)
1 & 1/2 cup Water
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Black Pepper Powder
Dried Fenugreek Leaves
Coriander Leaves (for garnish)

Hi guys! Welcome to 'Get Curried'. This is your Punjabi Chef Prateek Dhawan Not just any Dhawan today I'm the one. I really missed you guys, I hope you missed me too. Today I'm going to make
Sindhi-Style Fish Curry. So let's start cooking. To start the Sindhi Fish Curry First we are going
to marinate the Fish. I'm going to make the Fish my way, if you
have any other way then do let me know. For the marination, I'm going
to add Ginger-Garlic paste. Turmeric powder, Red Chilli powder, Lemon juice, Salt, And last Oil. After mixing it nicely, I'm going
to apply the marination on the Fish And I'm going to let it rest
for at least half an hour. After marinating the Fish
nicely in the marination I have set it aside for
at least 30 minutes. In the meanwhile, let's
prepare a quick paste, For that I am using, Fresh Tomato, Coriander Leaves And Green Chillies. Now that our paste is ready,
let's start making the gravy. For that, first I am going
to switch on the gas Add Oil And once the Oil heats up First I am going to add Bay Leaf, Green Cardamom And Cumin seeds. And once the Cumin starts crackling I'm going to add a Tomato
paste which we made earlier. And with this, I'm going
to add Ginger-Garlic paste
And cook it till the rawness of the Tomato
and the Ginger-Garlic paste goes away. Once the gravy starts bubbling It's time to add seasoning For that I am going to add Turmeric powder And Red Chilli powder. I'm going to sauté it
for at least 2 minutes. After sauteing the Masala for 2 minutes Now I am going to add more seasoning to it. In that I am going to add Garam Masala, Coriander powder And to speed the process
of cooking, I am going to add Salt I'm going to give it a nice stir. And once the Masala starts reducing And the Oil starts coming on top. I'm going to add in one
and a half cup of water. After adding water, give a nice big stir. Mix the water nicely with the Masala. And after this, we are going
to cover the gravy with the lid. And let it cook for at least 10 minutes. In the meanwhile, the gravy gets cooked Let's start pan-frying the fish. For pan-frying the Fish, I'm
going to switch on the gas. And once the pan starts heating up I'm going to add Oil to it. As the Oil starts to heat up We will start pan-frying the fish. And with this, Our fish is ready And our gravy is almost ready. I'm going to open the lid And transfer the fish into the gravy. After adding the final steak of the fish
I'm going to add a little Lemon juice, Little Black Pepper And Kasuri Methi. And with this, again I am going to cover it And cook it for 2 minutes And then we will
